Deutscher Wanderverband (German Hiking Association)

The German Hiking Association is a non-profit organization in Germany that promotes hiking. It was founded in 1883 and works to develop hiking trails that promote health and the experience of nature. The DWV organizes hiking events, trains hiking guides and is committed to sustainable tourism.

Lechweg

The “Lechweg e.V.” is an association that manages and coordinates the Lechweg. The Lechweg is a well-known long-distance hiking trail along the magical turquoise Lech river and crosses three countries - Vorarlberg, Tyrol and Bavaria. The unique natural scenery, the many breeding bird species and wild orchids form one of the most species-rich habitats in Central Europe, which is a delight for hikers.

Rheinland-Pfalz Tourismus GmbH (RPT) is responsible for tourism management and marketing in Rheinland-Pfalz. It implements the Tourism Strategy 2025, coordinates business development, marketing and promotes cooperation in the tourism industry. RPT also plays an important role in the state's tourism policy and is the central point of contact for tourism-related matters within the framework of economic development.

MyTrails

MyTrails is a GPS tracking app for outdoor activities such as hiking and cycling. It records routes and offers maps and navigation functions for outdoor enthusiasts. You can also find new and well-known trekking and long-distance hikes.

outdooractive

Outdooractive is an outdoor platform and includes interactive maps, hiking and cycling trails, as well as information on places of interest and accommodation. Users can use the platform to plan their own routes or access an extensive collection of previously created tours.

(Medienpartnerschaft) Wanderbares Deutschland

“Wanderbares Deutschland” is an initiative of the German Hiking Association that promotes hiking tourism in Germany. It works with regional partners to create well-signposted hiking trails and experiences to promote Germany as a hiking destination. This supports tourism and the preservation of nature and culture in Germany.
