Responsibility for our products PFC-free finish
We are PFC-free pioneers and are taking responsibility for our environment. In our Mission Clean Function, we have promised to eliminate the use of PFC in all of our collections by 2020.
Our stretch outdoor pants are completely PFC-free as of 2018. This demonstrates our commitment and ability to develop and manufacture environmentally sustainable products.
Responsibility for the environment Mission Clean Function
The year is 2012: 75 years of Maier Sports. We thought long and hard about how we could do justice to this legacy and decided that the anniversary would be a good starting point. A starting point to protect people and the environment in a sustainable way.
This is why we set up our Mission Clean Function in 2012. The Mission drives forward our objective to protect nature and the environment in a sustainable way and enables us to assume our social and sustainable responsibility. Maier Sports has stood for the perfect balance between innovative functionality, fashionable designs, lived tradition and a high sense of responsibility since 1938.
Responsibility for our employees Fair Wear Foundation
Maier Sports has been a member of the Fair Wear Foundation since 2011. We are committed to meeting all the requirements in an ongoing, accountable process.
The concept of sustainability is deep-seated in our way of thinking and our actions. Outdoor sports enthusiasts in particular, who see nature as a “sports field”, are focusing more on sustainability and sustainable products. The principle of sustainability not only refers to environmental aspects, but also includes economic as well as social sustainability.
Responsibility for satisfied customers 5-year guarantee
For us, responsibility means designing products to last, which Maier Sports’ customers can then enjoy for a long time. And should something break, we don’t think it’s right to simply throw the product away. This is why we offer a 5-year guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship.
